Rider Tarot Cards – How to Shuffle Rider Tarot Cards

Tarot is a process in which a person who needs answers (called a seeker) turns to a person who can answer him (called a reader). The seeker may have questions about the near future, everyday life, financial worries, love life, so he turns to the reader. After shuffling the cards, the reader will place them in a spread, combining the meaning of the spread with the cards, which means that he can answer the question. One of the most popular tarot cards out there is the Rider-Waite card. Many people confuse the Rider deck with a different one, actually this deck has been created by AE Waite and was published by the Rider company.

As I mentioned before, the seeker shuffles the cards and there are four different methods of shuffling. Card Player Method – This is one of the more difficult methods to use because tarot cards are often larger than normal cards used in everyday life. It also wears down cards pretty quickly because it makes a curve in the middle of them. This method is a good way to shuffle cards efficiently and with a little practice it will become mechanical. How it’s done is pretty simple: divide the deck into two equal piles and place them in the palm of your hand, then shuffle them as they land on the table. Another useful method is the insert method: this method is one of the fastest out there and how to do it is like above, you split the deck into two different piles and hold them in your hands, then insert one half into a scattered path in the other half. Please note that it is important to know that you need to be careful when doing this because the edges can fray after continued use. This method is efficient and fast and has a lot of hand-letter contact.

The best way to shuffle the cards so that you have the most contact with your hands and don’t damage your cards is called the Cowie Push/Put method: it’s not the easiest method out there, but after practice it will get easier. The way it’s done is by holding the entire deck in your dominant hand and using your thumb to push the cards into your other hand from the top, when you’re satisfied you push again now from the bottom and alternate with this method until all are gone. the cards are passed to the other hand. And you repeat this process over and over again until you think the deck has been shuffled enough.

In conclusion, there are many different ways to shuffle the cards, now it’s up to you which one you want to use and how big of a show you want to put on. Whichever witch method you choose, you will need to practice and be patient.
