Chronicles of Madness – Episode 43

In our 43rd episode of Madness Chronicles, we’ll take a look at the madness of COVID lockdowns around the world. Remember, insanity is a state of serious mental illness, extremely foolish behavior, and a form of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at some real COVID madness.

The following information comes from a recent report on abuses during COVID lockdowns by Amnesty International.

The nation of Zambia appears to be taking a strict approach to lockdowns. A police officer recently told a reporter: “We beat you, we beat you, and then we arrest you. If you escape, you’re lucky.” In Zimbabwe, three female COVID protesters were kidnapped, raped and tortured. When they were released, they filed a complaint about their treatment and were later arrested again for making false statements.

In Russia, a doctor has been arrested for violating travel restrictions by trying to distribute personal protective equipment. According to reports, she was suffocated and hit in the abdomen, and she fainted from it. When she mentioned the incident after her release, she was violently dragged back to the police station.

There is video evidence of police enforcing lockdown rules by attacking people with clubs in places as far apart as India and Sierra Leone. In Nigeria, in the first days of the curfew, several people were killed, as in South Africa; breaking the curvew resulted in 18 deaths. In Kenya, seven people died and 18 were hospitalized in the first five days of the lockdown. It seems all over Africa; Are mistakes punished?

In El Salvador, a young man described how a policeman stopped him and beat and shot him twice in the legacy. His crime of him? They caught him going to buy food and fuel, allegedly in violation of a national quarantine. In Australia, there is abundant video evidence on YouTube of police violently arresting people for not wearing a mask. In a disturbing incident, they broke into the home of a young pregnant woman who was returning from her doctor’s visit. The police took her out while her husband and her young son stood helpless.

Throughout Europe, there were several cases in Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Romania and Spain. Law enforcement officials resorted to the unlawful use of force to impose lockdown measures on people who offered no resistance and did not pose a significant threat. Amnesty International’s Citizen Evidence Laboratory verified 34 videos showing police using force illegally in the context of the lockdown, including police in Spain beating and restraining a young man and his mother.

Now you could say, ‘well, they broke the rules.’ What if you criticize the rules or don’t support the great pandemic narrative? In Turkey, numerous arrests were made for speaking out against the narrative, and in Venezuela, 12 health workers were brought to court for speaking out. In Kazakhstan, 81 people have been charged for speaking ill of the pandemic.

How about closer to home? A prominent California doctor has challenged his county’s coronavirus stay-at-home orders. Dr. Michael Deboisblanc, trauma medical director for John Muir Health, says he was fired after writing to health officials in Contra Costa County, California. An expert one day and out the next.

In Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, a man was standing outside chatting with a co-worker over coffee and was fined $300 for not wearing a mask. When you dig a little deeper, Manitoba has issued $683,000 COVID fines since the pandemic began. Free speech doesn’t seem as ‘free’ as it did in 2019.

Is this a good time to ask, “Do you see any clues about our future here?” Take a look at a bit of history and you’ll see that Nazi Germany started out by saying you couldn’t shop in Jewish stores. Then they did not allow the Jews to work. So they could not own property. And then, well, you know the rest of the story. Do you think we are different?

May we wake up from this madness before it’s too late. I wish you good health and until next time, have fun, enjoy life and beware of the madness among us. It’s 2020, look around you; It is scandalous
