What to do: when you don’t know what to do

The pillar of parenting is telling the child what not to do. – Do not do this. Do not do that. Unfortunately, most of the time; parents do not tell the child what to do. You were indoctrinated and conditioned not to do this or that and now you have difficulty deciding ‘what to do’. In the absence of not knowing ‘what to do’, you can do the following until you know what you want to do.

• Avoid spending time with negative people.

• Avoid rejecting new relationships simply because the old ones didn’t work out.

• Avoid competing against anyone.

• Avoid being jealous of others.
