Driving YouTube Traffic to Your Video: Ninja Strategy to Drastically Increase Viewers

YouTube is the third largest search engine on the web and the number one video search engine. Knowing how to easily drive tons of YouTube traffic to your YouTube clip is an important marketing strategy. In this article I am going to reveal the ninja tips that will allow you to get loads of views to your YouTube video.

Because YouTube is a search engine, it uses search engine features when displaying any video. YouTube analyzes the selection you’re currently viewing and then offers suggestions for videos related to your topic. These “suggestions” appear on the right hand side of the YouTube web page you are viewing. The tips also appear overlaid on the last frame of the video you’re watching.

This YouTube feature makes it very easy to click through and view a selection that the search engine thinks you might be interested in. Learning how to take advantage of this cool feature will allow you to easily drive tons of YouTube traffic to your video.

To optimize your video to appear in the “suggestions” box, you need to follow the formula below:

1. Sign in to your YouTube account

2. Click on the browse link at the top of the page

3. Search the “Most Viewed” or “Popular” channel for a video that you can relate to and that is relevant to the topic you want to talk about. This is the “Featured Video”. Tip: If you’re using this technique to convert viewers into leads, I suggest staying away from topics of a controversial or sexual nature. Always consider who your target market is when making this selection.

4. Create your own video with your own theme and refer it to “Featured”. Remember, your audience clicked on your title because it was related to the one they were viewing. Your message must be related in some way to the original.

5. Your video title should include the title of “Featured”, for example: Re: “Featured Title” or “Featured Title” Revised. (Think keyword strategy.)

6. In your description box, also include the title of “Featured”. You may also need to include the description of the original video in this box.

7. Copy and paste the “Featured” tags into the tag box of your video. Important: This must be exact.

8. Once you have uploaded and edited your video, go back to “Featured”. You now want to enter a response to this video in the response box below the watch box. Write a short answer and click the attach a video link located to the right of the answer box. Three options will appear, Burn, Choose or Upload. Select Choose. This will give you a menu of your uploaded videos, and you can select the one you want.
