Color psychology will make or break your bestseller

Color psychology is the biggest question I get on a regular basis. The reason is its importance. Color is a trigger that is associated with traditions and used in marketing over the years so well that it must be respected or sales are lost. The color will also trigger reactions. It is given. That’s why you need to know how to pick the right color for the right reaction at the right time. Due to the relevance of a color for success in marketing, I always like to keep sharing and repeating in some cases, what colors to use and when. Here are eleven of the basic colors.

These colors work for US activators only. Each country, culture, has different representations for color. Even if you are selling to Asian culture in the United States, the colors will change. Know who’s selling colors and sales will bloom like a rainbow of tulips in your garden.

quick list

Red

Red generates excitement, shows strength, is used to express sex, passion, speed and danger. Use it properly and it works extremely well.

Blue

This is the most popular color. Why? Because it builds trust, it reminds people to look/dream at the sky. Therefore, it builds trust, conveys reliability, a sense of belonging, freshness (in the sense of the 80s), refreshing and clean.

Yellow

We think about the sun and sunlight, about its warmth, about being cheerful and happy. Place it together with blue and thoughts of sitting on the beach or looking at the ocean connect.

orange

Orange is not used much in marketing. On a computer screen it loses its hue. When it’s clearly visible that it’s orange, it conveys joy, triggers childlike behavior, great in workshops if you want to get people there, it also conveys warmth and vitality.

Green

When we think of green we associate it with trees and grass. This brings associations with nature, freshness, coldness. It also means growth and abundance. Money is green and we automatically associate green with prosperity.

Violet

Royal Purple displays images of royalty. Passed down through the centuries from the religion and decorations of the palace it is not going to change any of our associations today. Purple means spirituality and dignity as well.

Pink

Usually associated with femininity, it means soft, sweet, affectionate and often security. The security of motherhood and all that it represents. As mature females, they sometimes lose their feminine side due to the rigidity of business. To bring it back, surround yourself with pink for a year. Pink blouse, suit, watch and household items.

White

Black and white are not actually called colors, but we recognize them as such. White represents pure, purity, virgin, clean, youthful and smooth. This is why white backgrounds perform better than black backgrounds on a website.

Black

Black can trigger the representation of the dark side of things in certain situations. Usually when black is the dominant color on the page. It can also represent sophistication, elegance, mystery. Black clothing is seductive and therefore will represent the same thing in many marketing materials, even if it’s just a conscious, non-verbal trigger.

Prayed

Gold is worth more than silver or copper but not diamonds. Since we have been taught to associate gold with value, which is exactly what is triggered when we see it in marketing materials. However, it can rarely be used in marketing materials because the color generally doesn’t duplicate well. There is a lot of confusion on the net about yellow and what yellow represents.

Silver

Silver also represents prestige just like gold. It is also a difficult color to express on the Internet or in printed materials. It sends signals of cold or scientific. This is why silver kitchen appliances sell so well. It also represents cleanliness in some cases, especially in kitchens. These are not all the colors of the rainbow; They are the most important in marketing. Use them wisely and they will make a difference in sales, or in the type of response you are looking for.
