Basic Flying Star Feng Shui Applications in Your Home

Do you know that a certain part of your house affects you the most? Have you ever wondered why the houses of yesteryear were square or rectangular in shape? By the end of this article, the answers should be very clear to you.

Once you master the information I’m about to share with you, you can easily impress your friends and family with this knowledge. Let me begin by introducing the concept of Flying Star Feng Shui…

Flying Star Feng Shui is used to determine events in a house or space based on calculations. There are 9 stars involved, and each star has its own meaning. Depending on the month and year, each flying star is positioned in each of the nine sectors.

If a favorable star is in a particular sector, then favorable things will happen to the people who occupy that sector, or to the family members that sector represents. This also works in reverse with inauspicious stars.

Today you won’t be looking at the stars yet, but will get acquainted with the sectors and which member of the family each sector represents. The sectors are positioned 3 sectors by 3 sectors. Only 8 family members are represented. The middle sector does not represent any member of the family.

By knowing which flying star is in each sector, you can easily determine which of your family members are having a good time and at the same time know which of them are going through a rough patch. Let me list each sector and the family member it represents…

Male Owner/Father – North West

Owner/Mother – Southwest

Eldest son – East

Middle Son – North

Younger Son – Northeast

Eldest Daughter – Southeast

Middle Daughter – South

Younger Daughter – West

Now, I know that the list above might not represent all family members and could be a bit confusing. Let me clarify those possible doubts…

Let’s say you’re staying with your parents and you have an older brother. So, what sector represents you? The answer is the Northeast sector. This should not be confused with the North sector (Middle Son). Many people are confused, they thought that being the second son also means that they are the Middle Son.

The only time the Middle Child sector is used is unless there are 3 or more children. If there are 3 children, then the second child is considered the middle child. What if there are 4 children? So in this case, both the second and third children are considered the middle child. In other words, the North sector affects both the 2nd and 3rd child. The same concept applies to daughters.

Now, what if 3 generations stay under the same roof? There is no sector that represents grandchildren. In this case, the grandparents are represented by Northwest (grandfather) and Southwest (grandmother). Parents are also represented by the same sectors Northwest for the Father and Southwest for the Mother. Basically parents and grandparents share the same sector.

What happens if you stay alone?

In this case, it depends on whether you are a man or a woman. If you are left alone and you are a man, then your sector is the Northwest. If you are a woman and you stay alone, then your sector is the southwest.

Now, if you noticed, old houses in China are usually in the shape of a square or rectangle. Why is this then? In Feng Shui terms, a square or rectangle has the best Feng Shui. The reason is because all 8 sectors are intact.

Today, many houses have irregular shapes. This results in missing sectors. And missing sectors result in missing family members. In less severe cases, that family member representing the missing sector will rarely be home. Always preferring to hang around outside. In more severe cases, that family member may migrate or, worse still, die of terminal illness.

If you want a house with good Feng Shui, first make sure it is square or rectangular. I wish you luck and health.
