Halloween, fancy dress parties and costume parties will be much more exciting this year with the addition of the Avatar costume for adults.
Men, women, teenagers and children will want to dress as Jake Sully or Neytiri to enter a fantasy world. Even for a few hours once a year, you can dress up in a Jake Sully costume or a Neytiri costume during Halloween and have fun escaping into a fantasy world. Some guys like to just wear the Jake Sully mask and create their own outfit. Women sometimes choose to wear the Neytiri wig to create their own outfit and put on the blue avatar makeup. Of course, it definitely won’t look like the authentic Avatar costumes. The Adult Avatar Costume looks authentic just like the actual character from the movie.
It’s no wonder the adult avatar costume is a popular costume in 2010, as millions of people thought the movie Avatar was absolutely awesome, just like I did. These Na’Vi aliens lived on the planet Pandora and were a race of blue-skinned humanoid beings. They had tiger stripes on their skin and large golden yellow eyes. Their noses were also like a cat’s.
I was so amazed with the scenery and the moral of the movie. In the film, Jake Sully was part of the Avatar Program, where humans remotely controlled Human/Va’vi hybrids to safely navigate the planet.
Originally, Jake was tasked with gathering information that would help Colonel Quaritech find the Na’vi’s weaknesses so he could force them to abandon the Mothertree or demolish it if necessary. They wanted this done because there were significant deposits of Unobtanium. Neytiri was ordered to teach Jake the ways of the Na’vi hunters and he was eventually accepted into the Omaticaya clan. Not long after, Jake and Neytiri fall head over heels in love.
The RDA then attack Hometree and then Jake seeks revenge. Jake plays a key role in the final war as he leads the Na’vi against the RDA. In the end, Eywa places Jake’s mind into his Avatar body permanently during a ceremony. It was a very moving and emotional film. I especially loved the part where Jake and Neytiri fall in love and Jake joins the Na’vi to help Neytiri and the others save their tribe and his village.
Embedded in the great movie Avatar was one man’s dream of bringing a virtual world to life for the world. James Cameron, the director of the Avatar movie, created a movie like no other with his amazing visual effects and took computer generated animation to a whole new level. Avatar is the first movie of its kind, as most of the visual effects used were created just for that movie. New real technology was developed like stereo cameras and virtual cameras to give the film a 3D feel and allow viewers to get an almost immersed feeling of the planet Pandora.
