Most people believe in the fact that God is in control of all things, but first let’s review what sovereignty means in the dictionary.
1. Highest or supreme in power or to others
2. independent and unlimited by.
3. Predominant major, supreme supreme.
4. A gold coin from Great Britain that is worth $4.86
Sure all of this defines God but except currency, it definitely cannot be currency.
God is supreme, supreme and independent, but the religious have brought up their own meaning and conclude that God is in charge of all things, that God controls everything that happens to man… everything is God’s will, nothing happens on earth that God doesn’t allow, if he doesn’t allow it it can’t happen.
But I disagree with that doctrine…and I agree that God is sovereign. When a person dies, we say that it is God’s will, it is his time. It’s as if God had your number in heaven and you were destined to die. (Hebrews 2:14) This clearly shows that the devil is the one who devours (1 Peter 5:8) he is the one who comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). The religious have put a heretical definition. of sovereignty and conclude with the fact that God is responsible for everything that happens on earth, both death, life, disease, disasters and corruption.
The worst heresy in the body of Christ is the fact that God is in charge and controls everything…it encourages passivism. If you believe that God controls everything… what’s the point of you seeking God, why bother going to church, why not? just sit home and relax on your couch and eat sweets and watch tv because god’s will will be done anyway, that’s a terrible doctrine!…even those who say it’s god’s will when your marriage fails , that still Pray for God to intervene, if God is responsible for sickness, death, corruption, then why do we still pray to him to intervene in his own will, why do we still go to the doctor when we are sick and treat to get out of the will of God?
Everything that happens in life has a very important role to play…it works like this…the space you give God to operate and influence your life determines the outcome of your life…if you give God God 10â„…..he stays there… you give him 70â„… he stays there… if you don’t give him anything he stays in nothing… so we are responsible for our lives… it is the God’s will that all come to repentance (2 Peter 3: 9) but Jesus said that there will be more people who enter through the wide door to perdition… than through the narrow door to eternal life… (Matthew 2: 13-14)… you choose!!
