Hello Folks! Welcome to Our Blog.

There have been a sensational six on the last and penultimate ball of the game to secure the victory. The most famous of these was Javed Miandad’s SIX when four races were required to win the Australasian Cup Final, a tournament equivalent to the Champions Trophy. Next in importance was probably Wasim Akram’s six when it took six runs of the last two balls to win the final of the Nehru Cup, a world series tournament involving six major teams.

That kind of situation came up in a one-day World Series game. Australia batted first and scored 228 with a graceful 53 from Dean Jones as the biggest contribution. Pakistan started badly and lost their first matches for little money. After a seesaw performance by the middle order, Pakistan was in dire straits midway through their entrances before Aisf Mujtaba and Rashid Latif met to resurrect the entrances. In the twilight of the game, Pakistan required 17 final runs to win the game with two wickets remaining. Pakistan managed 10 runs of the first five balls of the over which left them to get 7 runs of the last ball for the victory.

Asif Mujtaba was on strike. Steve Waugh was assigned last bowling alley as he had a reputation for being good at the same. Steve Waugh threw a full pitch on the last ball, which Mujtaba deposited into the crowd leveling the score and earning an unlikely draw for Pakistan and sharing the points with Australia.
